Ingredients
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 tablespoon ground oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons dried minced garlic
1 teaspoon ground paprika
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
Mix tomato sauce and paste until smooth. (Use a whisk-- very easy!) Stir in remaining ingredients.
Hint: Double or triple the recipe and freeze the sauce. I freeze in in single portions in a zip lock bag. (Just remember to lay it flat to conserve freezer space!) OR I have heard of people pouring the remaining sauce into ice cube trays and freezing it that way.
